€400K in 9 months, up from €96K all last year for a marketplace
Over the same period, Google clicks grew 12×, from about 100 a day to more than 1,400. Built on buying-intent pages, in-depth guides that earn trust, authority from relevant links, and a presence in the Reddit threads that rank for the same searches.

The challenge
A marketplace selling digital goods to an international, mostly mobile audience, in a niche where buyers research hard before they pay.
Its customers search in several languages and ask each other for recommendations on Reddit before buying. Those Reddit threads were ranking on Google for the marketplace's most valuable searches, and the marketplace wasn't part of the conversation.

Where the growth came from
“[product] for sale”, “buy [product]”
The main sales page ranks #1 on Google for the marketplace's top buying searches, like “[product] for sale”. Listing pages convert 15–20% of searchers into clicks.
Answers buyers look for first
Long-form guides bring in the largest share of impressions, reaching buyers early and sending them on to the listings.
Buyers search in their own language
The US and UK lead, with Germany third. 76% of clicks come from mobile.
Cited where buyers ask AI
264 of the marketplace's pages are cited in AI answers: 168 in ChatGPT, 106 in Gemini, 18 in AI Overviews and 17 in Google AI Mode (Semrush).
Showing up where buyers already ask
This thread ranks #7 on Google for the marketplace's buying searches. With 280+ comments, it's where buyers compare options before they choose.
One helpful reply in a thread that already ranks puts the marketplace in front of every buyer who reads it.
“If Scale Xpert told me they would bring our main pages to rank 1 on google with such a low budget I wouldn't have believe them.”
